現代日本のとある場所。
平和に不自由なく暮らす兄妹。
松本和樹（まつもと かずき）と松本千佳（まつもと ちか）
母親は幼い頃に亡くし、
父親は転勤族な為、ここから遠い場所で働いている。
普通に仲良く暮らしている二人。
千佳は和樹の事が大好きだが、
いつも和樹に対してツンケンしてしまう。
千佳はそんな自分を直したい、
と思いながらも日々を送っていた。
ある日の放課後、和樹と一緒に帰ろうと和樹を迎えに行く千佳。
しかし、和樹がクラスの女子に校舎裏に呼び出されているのを目撃する。
こっそり後を付けると、
和樹が女の子に告白しているのを目撃してしまう。
幸い、和樹は女の子の告白を断っていたようだが、

と思った千佳は、早速行動を起こす。
夜、和樹に告白をし、迫る千佳。

と考え、付き合うのは少し待って欲しい、と千佳に伝える。
しっかりと千佳と自分の気持ちを見つめ直し、
千佳の誕生日までに答えを決めると決意する和樹。
千佳は待ってるよ、と言ってくれるが……。
煮えきらない態度のままの状態で放置してしまい、
その間に他の男達が千佳に近づいていってしまう。
